Celebrating the Journey of Our Young Coaches

At Red Rose Roller Skating, we believe in nurturing talent and fostering a sense of community. This May, we celebrate the incredible journey of our young coaches who have grown through our ranks, embodying the spirit and dedication that our club stands for.

From the early days at Darwen Sports Centre to our current home at Turton and Smithills Sports Centres, the commitment to developing our youth has remained unwavering. Coaches like Danielle Thorpe, Eloise Clarkson, and Phoebe McQueen began their journey with us and have now become integral in mentoring the next generation of skaters.

Our newest junior coaches, Naimh Greenan, Jenni Gilligan, and Jack Openshaw, appointed in 2023, are the latest to join this illustrious group. These young leaders are not just coaches; they are role models, demonstrating perseverance, skill, and the importance of giving back to the community.

Investing in our youth goes beyond the rink. Through initiatives like the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, we help our members build character, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility. We are immensely proud of our coaches and the bright future they represent for Red Rose Roller Skating.

Join us in celebrating their achievements and be inspired by their dedication. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or just starting, there’s a place for you in our community. Skate with us, grow with us, and let’s roll into the future together!
